Guitar festival
The “Festival de Guitarra de Barcelona” has been held annually since 1990. Numerous musicians of all major musical genres from Latin American rhythms, flamenco and classical to jazz music will also perform this year. One instrument is always dominant – the guitar. The concerts take place in the Auditori Nacional de Catalunya, in the Palau de la Música Catalana and in the Luz de Gas.

Barcelona marathon
The 42.195 km run leads from Av. Reina Christina and Plaça Espanya past the most famous sights of the city: the Camp Nou stadium, La Pedrera, the Sagrada Familia, the Torre Agbar and the Plaça Catalúnya. For the less experienced, there is the opportunity to take part in the 10 km run, also starting and ending at Plaça Espanya.

European balloon festival
